James (Omahkohkiaaiipooyii) Craven is the guest for the full hour of this edition of “First Voices Radio.” James, who is Blackfoot, is a Vietnam-Era veteran of the U.S. Army. Now semi-retired, he was a professor of economics and geography for more than 35 years and has taught at the levels to high school to post-graduate in the U.S., Canada, China, India, Puerto Rico and Canadian First Nations Reserves. Over the years he has also taught law and statistics. James is a biographical subject in current and past editions of Marquis’s ”Who's Who in: The World; America; The West; Science and Engineering; Finance, Industry and Business; and American Education.” He is the author of several books, including, most recently, “The G-Word: On the Political Economy of Genocide and Indigenous Peoples,” published in 2016.
