Tiokasin Ghosthorse welcomes back UKUMBWA SAUTI is an initiated Elder in the Dagara tradition from Burkina Faso in west Africa and is a diviner, numerologist and spiritual counselor. He is a Producer/partner at moja mediaworks, developing the World Ancestor Concert and facilitating social justice workshop experiences along with forwarding progressive messaging through online merchandising. He has taught cultural media studies for 16 years in higher education. Ukumbwa created a blog entitled "Indigeny & Energetics," outlining in part the history and effects of Christianity in the Indigenous and modern world and the persistence of the elements of religious privilege and predatory missionary work. Ukumbwa has been active in the Pan-African movement, Black Lives Matter and other anti-racism work and the Occupy/Decolonize to Liberate movements. He has presented at spiritual conferences and political events in the New England region, California and Barbados and has been active in creating ritual work in the Boston, New York and Toronto, Canada. In the second half-hour, Tiokasin talks with  SHAANDIIN TOME, a filmmaker from Albuquerque, New Mexico. As a recent graduate from the University of New Mexico with a BFA in Film and Digital Media Production, she graduated cum laude and through her filmmaking passion hopes to continue her career creating art. Shaandiin is a 2016 Sundance Full Circle Fellowship alumna, 2016 Sundance Programming Intern, and in May 2017, she was selected for the Sundance Native Filmmakers Lab Fellowship. Shaandiins film, Mud/(Hasht'ishnii), screened in the Short Films category at the 2018 Sundance Film Festival in Park City, Utah. Shaandiin currently lives in Albuquerque, aiming to bring resonating imagery in convergence with story, illustrating her perspective as a Din woman.
