Tiokasin Ghosthorse welcomes back Bryan Nurnberger. Bryan founded Simply Smiles, Inc., in 2003 and serves as the organization’s President. Bryan is also the founder of Connecticut's first Benefit Corporation, Simply Smiles Products Corporation. Before founding Simply Smiles, Bryan worked as a mountain climbing guide, hiked the entire Appalachian Trail, lived with monks in Greece, and worked with sugar cane cutters in the Dominican Republic. In 2013, he was given the Lakota name "Cante Waste Wichasa," which means "Kind Hearted Man."

In the second half of the show, Tiokasin speaks with Terry Tempest Williams. Terry is the award-winning author of 15 books, including “Refuge: An Unnatural History of Family and Place,” “Finding Beauty in a Broken World” and “When Women Were Birds.” Her work has been widely anthologized around the world. She lives in Castle Valley, Utah, with her husband, Brooke Williams. Terry’s latest book, “The Hour of Land: A Personal Topography of America’s National Parks,” was published this month by Picador.​
